Ayahuasca Perspectives

One time on Ayahuasca I observed a new perspective. In my isolation my new perspective was that there was an entire world of suffering more than willing to have me as part of it.

“Don’t believe what you think” Something Tim said in January 2015. New perspectives are just that, they are new perspectives which you can’t see in that it is a perspective on the same thing; that thing being the present moment. It is a perspective on the present moment that you are not aware of. In that sense it is analogous to an ego death.

Un-specialised

What we are seeing with the proliferation of technology is that specialisation is losing its necessity. This came to me in the hardware sense but it also applies obviously in the information sense.. advanced hardware computer technology is very easily available to laymen. To me this points towards a more abundant reality, where integrity is more taken for granted. Where integral communication forms a basis for more connected interpersonal relatedness

Pebble watch review

pebbleI’ve had my Pebble watch nearly a week now and have basically got the hang of it. I’d recommend it except that I don’t like people copying me. It seems validly waterproof which I’m happy about, the info I can pull from my phone is really handy. Not perfect, but I can’t really expect my podcast app to have a pebble companion app which allows me to navigate my podcasts – although apparently using ‘tasker’ you can do stuff like that. Having the weather and all my notifications come through is pretty cool. Most of the weather apps I tried were pretty buggy but I’m happy with the one I’m currently using. Also the fact is cost $70 was definitely part of the appeal for me.

chocolate

I had a cheat day and allowed myself to have two triangles of a big Toblerone… Now I’m sitting here craving chocolate

ay5Y558_460sI would have had more if I hadn’t checked the nutrition…
toblerone2 thirds of my daily sugar in a couple large chunks of chocolate…

such a fun opportunity to test my resolve *sarcasm*

nutrition log – doing it my way (MS excel)

I give up on myfitnesspal.com and fitday.com, they’re both crap as far as I’m concerned.
I just entered broccoli for lunch on myfitnesspal.com and its coming up with different values for different meals. no deal. So I went back to the Excel sheet I downloaded from some apparent Australian nutrition authority, and made my own Nutrition Calculator in Excel.. This required learning the INDIRECT function in excel, which was a fruitful exercise in MS Excel. It’s pretty handy in that regard.

excel-imageSo this should be fine, looks like it’s working just fine 😀
I’ve checked the function values and yer seems all good.

All I have to do is search for a food in the database, and enter it’s row number into my foods sheet, then add that to any day. The file is here for any use requirements:
